nWire for PHP is almost ready
We are releasing the nWire for PHP and nWire for Java 1.2 Release Candidate today and we expect the final release to follow shortly. The download is available now in our Beta update site. More details on installing the new release can be found here. Users of nWire for Java are advised to wait for the final release.
Most of the fixes and updates in this release are internal, so they won't be visible immediately. The one major change is in the licensing area. nWire was finally split into nWire for PHP and nWire for Java, each can be licensed separately. Users can run both in the same IDE without a problem.
nWire was also enhanced with more installation checks. It should be able to better guide the user in case the installation fails. We know that the installation and activation were a major pain point in nWire and we hope this fix will make this easier to manage. Let us know if you encounter any problems with this release.
