Install nWire using Update Manager
Installing nWire using the Eclipse™ Update Manager
Installing using the online update site requires a working internet connection. If you are not connected, please see the offline installation instructions.
Installing nWire on Eclipse Galileo (3.5) and Zend Studio 7.x
Before you install, please make sure:
- For nWire for Java: Java Development Tools (JDT) is installed.
- For nWire for PHP: PHP Development Tools (PDT) 2.1 or later installed. Zend Studio versions prior to 7.0 are not supported.
- In Eclipse, select Help → Install New Software
- On the Available Software tab, select Add Site...
- In the Work With field, type the URL: http://update.nwiresoftware.com/
- Expand the tree node for the site and select the check box for the desired features: nWire For PHP and/or nWire For Java (both can be installed in the same Eclipse instance).
- Optionally: uncheck the Contact all update sites during install option option. You may leave it on, but it may cause Eclipse to install more software which will take more time.
- Click the Next > button, and ollow the instructions in the installation wizard to accept the licensing agreement
- Once the process is complete, you will be asked to restart your Eclipse
Installing nWire on Eclipse Ganymede (3.4)
Before you install, please make sure:
- For nWire for Java: Java Development Tools (JDT) is installed.
- For nWire for PHP: Not support on Eclipse 3.4. Please upgrade to Eclipse 3.5 with PDT 2.1.
- In Eclipse, select Help → Software Updates
- On the Available Software tab, select Add Site...
- Enter the URL: http://update.nwiresoftware.com/
- Expand the tree node for the site and select the check box for the nWire for Java
- Click the Install button, this may take a some time
- Follow the instructions in the installation wizard to accept the licensing agreement
- Once the process is complete, you will be asked to restart your Eclipse
Installing nWire on Eclipse Europa (3.3)
Before you install, please make sure:
- For nWire for Java: Java Development Tools (JDT) is installed.
- For nWire for PHP: Not support on Eclipse 3.3. Please upgrade to Eclipse 3.5 with PDT 2.1.
- In Eclipse, select Help → Software Updates → Find and Install..
- Select Search for new features to install and press Next >
- Click the New Remote Site on the Update sites to visit screen
- Enter nWire Update Site the URL: http://update.nwiresoftware.com/
- Make sure nWire Update Site is the only selected site on the list and click Finish
- Select the entire list and click Next >
- Accept the license agreement to continue
- Click Finish to complete the installation, this may take a some time
- In the Verification dialog click Install All
- Once the process is complete, you will be asked to restart your Eclipse
